The BIPAC-741 is a DSL router modem from the Taiwanese manufacturer Billion, which offers a variety of functions for 199 euros. The unit can be mounted on the table or alternatively on the wall. The LEDs are labeled twice so that the luminaires can be easily identified even during wall mounting. While only the normal five status lights can be found at the front, there are still 12 additional LEDs on the back, which can be used to make an accurate error search. In addition to the four LAN ports, a USB port is also available. The device can also be used as a USB-DSL modem. Unfortunately, Billion waived both a reset as well as a power switch. The configuration of the device is easy with the excellent, generously illustrated American manual, although the programming interface is English.
