AVM Fritz! Dect 200

The home automation controls are usually connected to the home network router. AVM saves this step: The control center of the home automation solution Fritz! DECT 200 is directly integrated into the actual FritzOS firmware of the Fritz! Box router. With Fritz! DECT 200 is a compact radio switch, which connects itself by means of a button over the energy-saving, pre-encrypted DECT signal with the (DECT-capable) Fritz! Box router. In the Praxistest, this connection even extended to connect a switch in the neighboring building.

The management of the wireless plug-in (maximum of ten) is then comfortably over the web interface of the Fritz! Box. Individual switching operations can be set here or power consumption values of the devices connected to the switch can be read off. The internal consumption of the Fritz! DECT 200 is less than 1 Watt. The remote-controlled switching is done via AVM's free myFritz access in the browser or conveniently via myFritz app on smartphone and tablet.
