At first glance, ASUS seems to be launching a device with the MeMO Pad HD 7, which is very similar to the ASUS-produced Nexus 7. If you look more closely, then you can see that ASUS is a little less powerful, but very sensibly put together hardware in the race and also thought of the memory card slot, the Nexus 7.

The Quad-core processor is clocked here only with 1.2 instead of 1.5 GHz and with the working memory it brings the MeMO Pad to 1 GB (2 with the Nexus 7). Performance, however, should have less impact than you would expect at first glance: the high-quality IPS display needs a lot less data thanks to its somewhat smaller but perfectly adequate resolution of 1,280x800 pixels. The MeMO Pad, which is available in various colors, costs around 120 Euro with 8 GB storage space, with 16 GB 140 euro.
