Call the different models
Now additional scenarios with different interest rates are to be added. Rename the next scenario using BestCase 4%. So this is the cheapest offer. By clicking on the OK button, you enter the following window and enter the model name: Model with 4%. In the Interest rate field enter: 0.04. By clicking the Add button you get the possibility to create another model. This gets the name WorstCase 6%. This is the highest expected interest rate.
Click on the OK button to enter the following window. The selected model receives the name model with 6% and the interest rate of 0.06. You can create as many scenarios as you want, but these three models are an example. Click the OK button to display Scenario Manager.
In Scenario Manager, you will find the Scenarios list box. Select the scenario to display in this list box. Clicking on the Display button computes the values with the selected model and displays them in the table.
This is how you quickly call up the individual scenarios and see the results. But the scenario manager can do more. The Add button allows you to create additional scenarios. Click the Delete button to delete the selected scenario. To edit a scenario, click the Edit button. For a clear overview of all values in a spreadsheet, use the Summary button.
